Empire striving to always improve….

Empire striving to always improve….

Empire striving to always improve….

At Empire we don’t like to stand still with our products. Every year we make additions and alterations to the horseboxes we manufacture; whether it be to the manufacturing process, the finish in the living, the specification or layout of the horse area or the finer detailing we strive for a year on year improvement.

Talking to the customer and understanding their demands and their needs is paramount. Making sure we build tough hard working vehicles, that are also capable of that home from home feel that customers require is important and we always strive to take on board everything we are told. After all, you the customer are the person putting our cherished creations through their paces day in day out so we would be stupid not to listen!!

One of the many 2016 build additions is the new customised Empire Logo’d spray suppression flap. We were approached by the manufacturer as he had visited our website and loved our product. The first one arrived today and we had to show it off!

Many thanks to Karl Wells from Beefy Flaps http://www.beefy-flaps.co.uk/ for this stunning product and we look forward to working with you in the future.

Empire Coachbuilders welcomes John and Claire Kearns

Empire Coachbuilders welcomes John and Claire Kearns

Empire Coachbuilders welcomes John and Claire Kearns.

When Claire Kearns was looking for a new horsebox she decided to visit the National Dressage Championships at Stoneleigh as there were a lot of horsebox manufacturers there. Empire was the last company she spoke to and we like to think she left the “best until last”, as the saying goes!

Once discussing her needs and requirements with James at the Nationals, James quickly went about helping Claire to source the chassis and plan the build of her dreams.

We are very proud of this beautiful Empire Extreme built as always with the attention to detail and finesse we are slowly becoming renowned for! We would like to wish Claire and her daughter the best of luck on the pony dressage circuit for her foreseeable future.

Empire Welcomes The Bakers

Empire Welcomes The Bakers

Another month, another happy customer! We are delighted to officially welcome Julie and Nick Baker to the “Empire family” after they collected their bespoke built, Empire Extreme earlier today!

Like most looking for a new horsebox, Nick “did his homework” whilst at the Hickstead International and at The British show jumping Championships at Stonleigh making sure he was getting a horsebox from a company that really cared about what he wanted.

We are thrilled Nick and Julie chose Empire & they have been a pleasure to work for over the last few months. We would like to wish them every success for the future.

Empire welcomes Carole Warren

Empire welcomes Carole Warren

Empire welcomes Carole Warren…….

When Carole was looking for a new lorry in the autumn of 2015, after her horse had succesfully competed around its first burghley with Irish event rider Alan Nolan, she wanted to make sure the company building her a lorry were capable of three things amongst others …
1) To build to her individual tastes in the living and shower room.
2) That the horse area was 100% bullet proof.
3) That while she was busy with work and unable to visit the workshop to see her build that the manufacturers would keep her informed of the progress they were making.

Empire had been recommended to her by her mechanic and when she came to the workshop and saw the build quality and discussed her requirements with James our Sales Manager, she left confident that the building of her new bespoke lorry was in safe and capable hands.

We welcome Carole and Alan and wish them all the best for the 2016 event season!

Empire welcomes Mr Jonathan Cartwrighte and family.

When Mr Cartwrighte was looking for a custom built horsebox built to his and his wife’s own personal specifications, he spoke with every horsebox manufacturer, he went the length and breadth of the country speaking with them all to see if they understood his vision and would be able to build what he and his wife wanted.

The Cartwrighte’s had some very individual designs and ideas which company owner and founder Kevin Jackson was more than happy to accommodate and after meeting with Kevin and James they quickly settled on working with Empire. It has been a pleasure to create their customized horsebox and working with them throughout the build process has been a pleasure.

We welcome the Cartwrighte’s and wish them the best of luck for 2016 and beyond in their brand new customised Empire horsebox.

We are pleased to welcome Christopher Padfield to the Empire family

We are pleased to welcome Christopher Padfield to the Empire family

We are pleased to welcome Christopher Padfield to the Empire family. Christopher and his wife are major hunting enthusiasts. Hunting with two packs one in Essex where they live, where Christopher is a hunt master, and one in Lincolnshire which Christopher hunts with regularly. When the Padfield’s came to meet us he had already visited many of the other manufacturers in the UK. Having been recommended to speak to us by one of his friends, Christopher made the long journey across the UK from his home in Essex to speak to our Salesman James early on a Saturday morning.

Having understood Chris’s requirements where other manufacturers had failed, due to James’ personal knowledge of horses and what a hunting box needed to be; Christopher’s search for a horsebox manufacturer came to a halt. James quickly set about searching for a chassis for Christopher and his wife. Having built them the lorry of their dreams, Kevin Jackson the founder of Empire decided that James could deliver the Padfield’s Empire Platinum to their home himself. This was the first time Kevin, who usually likes to do the hand over himself, has let this take place. James made sure he took the time to show them how everything worked. Making sure the Padfield’s felt part of the Empire family and finally celebrating the delivery with a glass of champagne.
